June 2010:

Well here we are in the month of love, and as a special treat for those of you who book your exclusive use weddings with us by the 14th March, for the months of November and December 2010, we will include a fantastic FREE FIREWORKS DISPLAY, lasting approximately 10 minutes, worth over £ 1,100.00!!  This is definately an offer not to be missed....

January 2010:

Happy New Year to you all, and congratulations to those of you who are newly engaged.  The good news is that there are still plenty of dates throughout this year.  Just let us know when you'd like to become Husband and Wife, or partners for life....

Remaining fantastic dates in 2010 include Sunday 2nd May (Bank Holiday weekend),  Friday 30th July and Friday 3rd September ... Book your appointment to view now to avoid disappointment!

Our viewing weeks with the terrace lean to pavilion and beautifully decorated full sized marquee was a resounding success once again! Thanks again to County Marquees of Chepstow for providing the marquees and to Love,Lily - Master florist of Abergavenny for the beautiful floral decorations within them.  Huge thanks also go to Andy and Sacha Stoyle of ALS Photography who were on hand during the open evening on the 8th January to chat to clients, and who took some beautiful photos of all our guests, to the Bluesy Susie Band for the perfect musical accompaniment to the evening and to Pendragon fireworks for the fab display to help welcome in 2010!

Lyndsey and Michael Foster (who got married here on the 4th July last year) are through to the Your South Wales Wedding Magazine 'Wedding of the Year 2009' final, which is decided at the end of this month.  Congratulations to them for getting this far, voting is now closed so we're keeping our fingers crossed for you guys!

December 2009:

Special date in early 2010 now up for grabs - Sunday 14th February 2010, St Valentine's Day.  We'll even include a bottle of pink bubbly and our magnificent Four Poster Bridal Suite free of charge on the night of the wedding.  Contact us for further details and to book your showround of the house and it's grounds.

November 2009:

On Friday 8th January 2010 we will be launching the 2010 openning of this magnificent Georgian four star country house hotel with an informal viewing evening with plenty of inspirational ideas for you ... from marquees to florists, to entertainment and photographers - this is not a wedding fayre, but an exclusive event organised with some of our trusted suppliers. 

Plenty of canapes and fizz will be provided, just let us know that you're coming and how many of your friends and family you will be bringing along.  It promises to be a great evening.  I look forward to seeing you all there! 

For those of you who would like to make an overnight stay of the open evening, accommodation is being offered at a discounted bed and breakfast rate of £ 100.00 per double room, based on two people sharing.  Please contact reception to book your room on 01873 840 678, mentioning this event.

If you can't make the open evening the marquees and decorations will remain in situ until Sunday 17th January for those of you who would like to come and have a look.  Please contact us for a personal appointment.

October 2009:

We will be organising a very special marquee viewing week in January 2010 which promises to be bigger and better than last year's.  We will be working in conjunction with County Marquees of Chepstow, the fantastic Love,Lily florists in Abergavenny, ALS Photography, Bluesy Susie and many many more suppliers who will all make an appearance at the launch night.  From the 9th until the 17th January 2010 the demonstration marquee and our terrace lean to pavilion will be decorated and available to view.  Special details of the champagne fuelled launch evening and viewing appointments over the period to follow in November.

Congratulations to Lyndsey and Michael Morgan - they won their heat in Your South Wales Wedding magazine's competition for the Wedding of the Year and are through to the final!!  We'll all be voting again soon!

September 2009:

Well we've made it through June, July and August - and wow what a lot of lovely weddings we've had!  We had a lovely suprise a few weeks ago when one of our bride's and groom's were announced as finalists in Your South Wales Wedding Magazine's Wedding Of The Year 2009 Competition! Congratulations to Lyndsey and Michael - they had a fabulous day back in July, the sun shone for them, their ceremony was beautiful and the marquee where they held their reception was decorated beautifully - even if we do say so ourselves!  Vote for them to win here!

We also have a few remaining dates remaining for winter 2009 / 2010 - including SATURDAY 12TH DECEMBER 2009!  Unfortunately you've now missed the fantastic deposit payment back offer we ran earlier in the year, but there are still some fabulous discounts to be had!  Call Rhiannon for a chat about your plans on 01873 841105.

August 2009:

We are now a 4 Star Hotel!  Following a recent Visit Wales inspection - we are delighted to shout about the fact that we have been awarded our fourth star! 

May 2009:

Winter 2009/2010 - HAVE YOUR £ 1,000.00 DEPOSIT PAYMENT BACK!   If you dream of a winter wedding ( November 2009 until February 2010 ) and still want some money to pay for Christmas presents or that sunny Carribean honeymoon, look no further for the perfect solution!  We're offering you your deposit payment back the morning after your wedding!  Original deposit payments to be received by June 30th 2009.  Mention "Winter Wedding Present'' when booking.
